Holy Shrines covered with black in memory of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Sadiq

Signs of sadness and mourning have appeared in the corridors and courtyards of the holy shrines in Iraq, Syria and Iran, marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq, peace be upon him.
Black banners carrying expressions of sadness and sorrow were hung around the courtyards on the painful occasion which kindled fire in the hearts of Ahlulbayt followers.
The holy shrines prepared special mourning programs such as mourning ceremonies, lectures and activities to revive the sorrowful occasion.
