Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announces the opening date of the completed parts of al-Aqeelah Zainab Courtyard

Ahlulbayt lovers await the opening of some completed parts of the al-Aqeelah Zainab Courtyard during the month of Muharram this year. The courtyard was established on the southwest side of the Holy Shrine with an area of 52 thousand square meters.
The work of the concrete structures of the courtyard and the Zainabi Hill Site reached advanced stages, with the engineering and construction work being carried out at an increasing pace.
Engineer Mahdi al-Qazwini of the Engineering Projects Department of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine said, in press statements, “The Zainabi Hill Site will be completed and opened before the next month of Muharram, and after that it will be closed to complete the final stages which include flooring and other finishing touches,” indicating that “all the areas of worship in the courtyard will be opened at the beginning of the month of Muharram and closed after the completion of the blessed Arbaeen Pilgrimage, in addition to the opening of 250 restrooms in the coming days.
