Egyptian court extends verdict placing Muslim Brotherhood on terrorism list

The Waka’I’a Al-Masriya, an official Egyptian journal, has published a new judicial ruling extending the inclusion of the Muslim Brotherhood as well as 169 Egyptians on terrorism list for five more years.

According to the newspaper, the verdict was issued on March 19, by the Cairo Criminal Court, and it was issued under the chairmanship of Counselor Muhammad Al-Saeed Al-Sherbiny, and the membership of the advisors, Gharib Ezzat and Mahmoud Muhammad Zaidan.

The ruling stipulated two things: First, extending placing the Muslim Brotherhood on terrorism list. Secondly, extending placing 169 Egyptians on terrorism list.

The extension decision is for five more years, starting from the end of the previous decision.

The verdict issued to extend Extension Ruling 3 – 2018 on Terrorist Groups, and Ruling 3 – 2018 on terrorists in the case N. 435 in 2018 of the Supreme State Security.
