Husseiniyat Al Yasin provides 500 food baskets for the underprivileged in Qom and Tehran
On the occasion of the great month of Ramadan, Husseiniyat Al Yasin in Sydney, Australia, provided 500 food baskets for the underprivileged in the Iranian cities of Qom and Tehran.
The official website of the Shirazi Religious Authority said, “500 basic food baskets were provided for the underprivileged in the Iranian cities of Qom and Tehran, donated by the mosque and Husseiniyah of Al Yasin, which is affiliated with the religious authority in Sydney.”
It added, “The blessed work comes on the occasion of the great month of Ramadan and is based on the commandments of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, for the care of the underprivileged.”
The initiative is part of the great charitable project of the Husseiniyah under the slogan ‘Father of the Orphans, Commander of the Faithful, preace be upon him’, through which it plans to distribute more than fourteen thousand food baskets in various cities and provinces in Iraq and Iran.
