Four new branches for Quran activities opened in Indonesia


The International Quranic Preaching Center, affiliated with the Quran House of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has opened four branches in several Indonesian cities and islands in order to expand international Quranic activities and events.
The Supervisor of the International Quranic Reporting Center, Montadher al-Mansouri, said that within the plans of the Holy Shrine aimed at spreading Quranic culture among the countries of Southeast Asia and conveying the message of the Holy Quran, four branches were opened in Indonesia to work alongside the central branch in the capital Jakarta after the expansion of its work and good reputation in the region.
Al-Mansouri stated, “The first branch is located in the city of Bandung, West Java, located 150 km from the capital, Jakarta, the second branch is located in Solok Grok Village in Bandung, the third branch is located in Balikpapan City, in the eastern part of the island of Kalimantan, while the fourth branch is located in the city of Suvink, in the western part of the island of Java.
He continued, “These branches, despite their recent establishment, have succeeded in attracting more than 200 students, and will work alongside the central branch in the capital by organizing Quranic activities including courses, competitions, lessons of interpretation and Quranic stories.
