Bahrain: Prisoners at Jaw Prison struggle with cancer after their release

The Bahraini activist, Muhammad al-Saleh, affirmed that the suffering of prisoners in Bahrain did not begin today. Rather, the Bahraini regime’s prisons have been the site of epidemics and chronic diseases since the start of the revolution.
Al-Saleh said in a televised interview that most of the prisoners in the prisons of the Bahraini regime know their fate is death, whereas others were released from prisons, but are struggling with cancer.
Al-Saleh emphasized that the crisis inside Bahraini prisons is a systemic one because the Prisons and Security Administration has been trained in American and British security companies and has mastered the method of dealing with prisoners, evading international pressure and literally condemning human rights.
He said that the prison administration in Bahrain does not allow any party to visit the notorious Jaw Central Prison, stressing that this method impedes the ways to resolve the crisis, calling for international action to release prisoners of conscience, and stressing that the right of these prisoners is freedom without restrictions and conditions.
