Intensive preparations for the commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Kadhim, peace be upon him

Crowds of pilgrims began to head towards the holy city of al-Kadhimiya in the capital, Baghdad, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa al-Kadhim, peace be upon him.
Service units spread along the route of the pilgrims to provide all services to them as they continue their journey towards the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Kadhim, peace be upon him.
A security source stated that a number of main roads in central and eastern Baghdad were closed, in preparation for the massive pilgrimage.
The Baghdad Operations Command affirmed its full readiness to secure the pilgrimage of Imam Musa al-Kadhim, peace be upon him, which is on Wednesday 25 Rajab.
