Iraq: Plot to target Mosul with terrorist attacks thwarted

The National Security Agency in Mosul announced the arrest of 7 ISIS terrorists who were planning to target the province with terrorist attacks.
In a statement received by Shiawaves, the agency stated, “Based on information received through the free hotline (131), which reported movements of ISIS terrorists in separate areas in Mosul, the National Security Agency began monitoring and tracking and managed to arrest 7 terrorists wanted by the judiciary, according to Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law, where were planning to target the province with terrorist attacks.
It added, “Their statements were documented, and they confessed to carrying out armed attacks against the Iraqi security forces during the liberation operations, and they were referred to the judiciary.”
