The Imam Hussein Association, affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority, in the city of Segou, Mali, continues to organize many different religious, cultural and charitable activities.
The association stated in a statement, “It is through the efforts of a group of Shias and following the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, on the need to disseminate the teachings of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, to the whole world.
It added that it establishes charitable and humanitarian activities to support and aid the oppressed and the deprived in Mali.
