Campaign to demand the opening of Kadhumiya Holy Shrine
A campaign was launched on social media to demand that the Kadhumiya Holy Shrine be opened to pilgrims after being closed several months under the pretext of reconstruction.
Social media activists wrote a joint message on social media networks saying, “We, as followers of Imam Musa al-Kadhum and Imam Muhammad al-Jawad, peace be upon them, demand the opening of the doors of the Holy Shrine, and an explanation with convincing reasons for its closure throughout this period.”
The message continued, “The holy shrines of the Infallible Imams, peace be upon them, are not the property of any party, and no one has the right to dispose of them in an illegal manner.”
The activists also mentioned, “In the event that the parties do not respond to the demands of tens of millions of followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in Iraq and abroad, we declare our solidarity with them to join any protests.”
The activists demand everyone to spread the message in order to pressure the administration of the Holy Shrine to open the blessed doors to pilgrims.
