Terrorist cell consisting of 15 terrorists arrested in Nineveh

The Iraqi National Security Service announced, on Sunday, that it has arrested a sleeper cell consisting of 15 terrorists in Nineveh province.
The Security Service said in a statement, “Based on intelligence information, field follow-up, and a qualitative operation, the detachments of the National Security Agency in Nineveh managed to arrest a terrorist sleeper cell consisting of 15 terrorists distributed in different neighborhoods of the province after monitoring their movements.”
The statement added, “Their statements were recorded and they confessed to planning to launch sporadic attacks to destabilize security. They have been referred to the competent legal authorities.”
