Iraq allows foreigners to enter through airports

The Iraqi authorities announced that non-Iraqis would be allowed to enter the country exclusively through the airports.
The Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety decided during its meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi yesterday evening, to discuss the latest developments of the Corona pandemic in Iraq, and the government’s efforts to confront it. The committee decided to allow the entry of non-Iraqi expatriates exclusively through airports, while following the health guidelines.
The committee had previously set conditions on foreign arrivals, including requiring them to present a negative PCR examination at the passports centers, provided that the examination takes place within 72 hours before entering the Iraqi airports.
