Thirteen people killed and dozens wounded in car bomb explosion in Afghanistan

Thirteen people were killed and more than 30 others were wounded, when a car bomb exploded in Nangarhar Province, eastern Afghanistan.
Afghan media outlets, quoting local authorities, reported that a car bomb exploded near the compound where the provincial governor resides.
Local officials said that the gunmen tried to storm the house of the governor of the state, but the security forces confronted them, noting that the explosion also caused civilian deaths.
