The administrative committee of Saeed Bin Jubair Quranic Festival has declared the completion of procedures to begin the festival across four Iraqi provinces on the 8th of March.
Chairman of the committee said, “We had financial problems, but the committee will hold the festival in spite of the conditions.”
The establishment of such festival in these circumstances and with the participation of international figures conveys a positive impression about Iraq.
The Supreme Committee of Saeed Bin Jubair International Quranic Festival, announced on Wednesday, February 24th, the participation of 20 countries, pointing out that the festival will be held in coordination with local governments and religious shrines in Najaf, Karbala, and Baghdad.
