Ten million foreign pilgrims to visit Iraq for Arbaeen Pilgrimage

Karbala expected the arrival of around 10 million foreign pilgrims

 

Officials of the Holy city of Karbala expected the arrival of around 10 million foreign pilgrims to perform Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

They said that five million pilgrims will come from Iraq, while the rest of pilgrims are from other countries, adding that more than eight thousand vehicles are ready to transport the pilgrims.

Authorities in Holy Karbala collaborated with local governments of the Iraqi provinces of Babylon, Holy Najaf and Diwaniya to send service vehicles and distribute police personnel along the roads to control the security situation.
