“TaratilSajjadiyya” or Sajjadian Hymns International Festival planned in Karbala
Sajjadian Hymns will be held on martyrdom anniversary of Imam Sajjad
An international festival titled “Taratil Sajjadiyyah” or Sajjadian Hymns will be held on martyrdom anniversary of Imam Sajjad, peace be upon him, on November 8 in the holy city of Karbala.
Sayed Jamal al-Deen Shahrestani, head of the festival’s committee, said that the committee has invited researchers and poets from different countries to participate and send their works about the fourth infallible Imam, peace be upon him.
The international festival will be held by the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine in the month of Muharram with the aim of clarifying the noble concepts in the Infallible Imam’s “Treaties of Rights”.
The second edition of the festival will be attended by eminent religious and academic figures as well as literary figures from Germany, France, the US, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iran and Turkey.
