Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: Unity among Shiites s the path to confronting oppression and achieving success

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has called on Shiites across the world to unite in word and stance, and to stand together in the face of injustices and challenges. He emphasized that this unity is the only path to success and achievement.

This came in a brief message published on the official website of his office, in which he stressed the importance of solidarity and coexistence among believers. The Grand Marja warned against conflict, division, and distancing from one another, noting the severe negative impact such discord can have on collective efforts and the service of religion.

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi affirmed that one of the most significant benefits of Shiite unity is the ability to offer broader and more effective services in introducing Islam and Shiism to the world, and in reducing their exposure to oppression and violations by enemies and extremist and takfiri groups.

The Supreme Religious Authority pointed out that adherence to the path of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), rejecting division, and uniting ranks are the means to attaining God’s pleasure, achieving well-being in this life and the hereafter, and reaching happiness and a dignified life.
