Scotland: AhlulBayt Association organizes cultural-religious program

The AhlulBayt Association in Glasgow, Scotland, organized a comprehensive cultural and religious program that combined Quranic recitation with ethical discourse, attended by members of the Iraqi and Gulf communities.
The event opened with a Quranic recitation by Sheikh Abdullah Abul from Kuwait, followed by a moral lecture titled “Reflecting on the Ethics of AhlulBayt (AS).”
He emphasized the importance of emulating their noble example and spreading their values and teachings in Western societies. Sheikh Abul also encouraged continued support for the association’s religious and social programs and active participation in its initiatives.
He stressed the significance of Islamic upbringing in an era overwhelmed by superficial entertainment, especially through social media platforms, warning against the influence of such content, underlining the role of families and religious institutions in fostering awareness and protecting younger generations.
The event featured notable female participation in the women’s section, particularly from the Iraqi and Gulf communities, highlighting the inclusiveness of the program and its outreach to all segments of society.
