Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urges Husseini Mawaki organizers to persevere in upholding sacred rituals

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Hussaini al-Shirazi, emphasized the importance of patience and endurance in sustaining the sacred rituals of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), highlighting their vital role in spreading the message of Ahlulbayt globally.
Addressing a gathering of Husseini Mawakib (mourning or service processions) organizers from Holy Karbala, the senior Shia cleric urged continued dedication to the path of Imam Hussein despite the physical and emotional toll it may bring. “Patience is the key to divine success, and one cannot attain true blessings without it,” the Grand Marja stated.
His Eminence described the path of serving the Cause of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, as transformative for individuals, communities, and even the world, advising participants to practice forgiveness and rise above conflicts, stressing the importance of brotherhood and sincerity in service to Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
He praised the Mawakib as powerful instruments for conveying the legacy and values of the Imam, particularly at a time when their influence continues to grow across various parts of the world. The remarks come as millions prepare for Ashura and Arbaeen commemorations, with Hussaini Mawakib playing a central role in reviving the spirit of sacrifice, justice, and unity in Shia communities.
