More than 120 students in Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina, have graduated from a two-month muezzin training course organized by the Youth Network of the Islamic Community. The course, aimed at preparing students to perform muezzin duties at their local mosques, concluded with a ceremony held at the Islamic Community’s main hall.
Sheikh Hafiz Mohammad Kudic, Mufti of Bihać, praised the success of the course and emphasized the vital role of muezzins in Islamic tradition, congratulating the graduates and encouraging them to use their knowledge to benefit their communities.
Amaref Grahovic, coordinator of the Youth Network, noted that this was the first city-wide course of its kind and was met with a strong response, with over 120 students participating.
The graduates expressed pride in learning to call the Adhan and urged others to join future training sessions. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the Islamic Community to strengthen religious ties and preserve Islamic culture through youth education.
