Tatarstan launches 25th One-Day Islamic School ahead of blessed month of Ramadan

The 25th edition of the One-Day Islamic School has begun in Tatarstan, offering new Muslims essential lessons on Islamic practices ahead of Ramadan. More than 250 participants joined the program, which covers prayer, ablution, Quran recitation, and fundamental Islamic teachings.

Organized by the Islamic Spiritual Directorate of Tatarstan, the course provides structured lessons in both Tatar and Russian, helping new Muslims understand key religious concepts. Since its launch in 2018, the program has educated hundreds of participants.

In preparation for Ramadan, mosques across Tatarstan have also initiated Quran recitation courses as part of broader efforts by the Muftiate, Quran memorization centers, and Kazan Islamic University to enhance religious education in the region.
