Karbala Charity launches Islamic book fair to promote culture and reading
The Karbala Charity Foundation has opened a book fair on Imam Hussein Street, near the shrine of Ibn Al-Fahd, to promote Islamic culture and encourage youth to read and engage in scientific research.
The fair, which began on the 20th of Rajab, has seen significant turnout, especially from seminary and academic students. Starting from the 2nd of Sha’ban, sessions addressing intellectual and religious questions were held, receiving positive feedback.
Valuable books by prominent scholars, including Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Al-Shirazi, were distributed. The fair, supervised by Hujjatul-Islam Sheikh Jamal Al-Wakeel, will continue until the 13th of Sha’ban, featuring cultural activities and open dialogues to raise awareness of Islamic values and promote reading as a means of intellectual growth.
