Iraqi authorities have received over 190 families linked to ISIS at Al-Jada Camp in southern Nineveh, transferred from Syria’s Al-Hol Camp, local news outlets reported.
According to Iraqi security sources, 191 families (710 individuals, mostly women and children) were relocated under strict security measures coordinated with SDF and the international coalition.
Al-Jada Camp focuses on rehabilitating these families to reintegrate them into Iraqi society after ensuring they no longer hold extremist ideologies.
Thousands have already been reintegrated with international and UN support. Additional transfers from Al-Hol Camp are planned in coming days.
