Fire tornado strikes Los Angeles amid spreading Palisades os

Los Angeles has been hit by a rare fire tornado as the Palisades Fire continues to ravage LA County, news reports said.

Footage reveals the formation of the fire tornado near the San Fernando Valley, created by intense heat and turbulent winds, which produce a spinning column of fire, ash, and smoke.

The wildfire has claimed at least 24 lives, scorched over 37,000 acres, destroyed 12,000 structures, and displaced tens of thousands of residents.

New evacuation orders were issued last night as the blaze advanced eastward into Brentwood, threatening more neighborhoods.
