195 journalists killed in Gaza since October 7, local group reports

The Palestinian Journalists’ Forum reported on Saturday that 195 journalists have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023.

The organization condemned the lack of international action to protect Palestinian journalists and uphold their rights under international law.

The ongoing conflict in Gaza has resulted in over 44,800 deaths, primarily women and children, amid increasing international condemnation of Israel’s actions.

The International Criminal Court recently issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over alleged war crimes, while Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice.
