UNESCO honors Morocco as global leader in Holy Quran memorization

The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has recognized Morocco as the top-ranked country globally in Quran memorization.

This distinction highlights Morocco’s dedication to promoting the memorization and teaching of the Holy Quran, with approximately 1.5 million individuals in the country committed to memorizing and preserving this holy book.
