Over 20 Shia channels to concurrently broadcast global film “The Lady of Heaven”
For the first time, more than twenty Shia satellite channels are preparing for a simultaneous broadcast of the international film “The Lady of Heaven” in multiple languages.
The event is scheduled to coincide with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyeda Fatimah al-Zahra, peace be upon her, and will air on Friday, November 15, 2024, corresponding to Jumada al-Thani 12, at 2:30 p.m. (GMT).
“The Lady of Heaven” is a historical drama depicting the life of Sayyeda Fatimah al-Zahra, peace be upon her, from birth to martyrdom, as presented in Shia narrative, and is based on religious and historical accounts. Filmed with a cast of international actors, production began in 2016 and concluded in 2020, enhancing the movie’s visual appeal and artistic value.
The film has received widespread attention from Shia followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and has garnered global interest from critics and cinema enthusiasts. It is regarded as a significant work that highlights the historical impact and esteemed status of Sayyeda al-Zahra in Islamic history and Shia heritage.
