Intel Islam and Freedom Conference held in Istanbul to address human rights issues

The 11th International “Islam and Freedom” Conference took place in Istanbul on October 18-19, bringing together Muslim intellectuals from across the globe.

The discussions centered around contemporary issues, with a particular focus on human rights violations in the Middle East, especially by the Israeli military. The conference topics included “Islam and Democracy,” “Freedom of Thought,” “Free Economy,” and “Civil Society.”

The event was organized by the Black Sea Strategic Research Center in collaboration with the Liberal Thought Association, with key speakers emphasizing the importance of ethical principles, pluralism, and independent perspectives when evaluating recent Middle Eastern events.
