UN adopts resolution supporting human rights investigations in Yemen
The United Nations Human Rights Council unanimously adopted on Friday a new resolution concerning Yemen and the human rights violations across the country.
The resolution, numbered A/HRC/57/L.32, aims to provide technical assistance and capacity-building for Yemen’s National Commission to Investigate Alleged Human Rights Violations.
It urges all parties to the conflict to fully cooperate with the Commission and ensure transparent access to information.
The resolution also requests the High Commissioner to provide the necessary technical and logistical support for the Commission’s ongoing investigations into violations committed by all parties.
