The US military announced the death of 37 ISIS and al-Qaeda operatives, including multiple senior leaders, in two airstrikes in Syria, Rudaw reported today, Sunday.
According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), the strikes targeted operatives from ISIS and Hurras al-Din, an al-Qaeda affiliate with global ambitions to attack US and Western interests.
The airstrikes, carried out in rebel-held northwest Syria, reportedly caused no civilian casualties. CENTCOM previously conducted another strike in September, killing 28 ISIS members, including four senior leaders.
