IHC, Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation distribute monthly food baskets to needy families in Afghanistan
The UK-based Imam Hussain Charity (IHC), in collaboration with Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development and under the direct coordination of the office of Grand Ayatollah Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi in Afghanistan, carried out its monthly distribution of food baskets to support needy families in various regions of the country.
This initiative, permitted from Grand Ayatollah Shirazi to collect and distribute legal funds, has so far reached 300 families, providing regular assistance to help stabilize their livelihoods amidst Afghanistan’s difficult conditions.
According to officials at the charity, many of these families include orphans and vulnerable individuals facing severe hardships, emphasizing that this initiative is part of a broader relief effort aimed at supporting affected families in Afghanistan, especially given the country’s deteriorating economic situation.
IHC, working with local and international partners, seeks to expand aid distribution to more remote areas where resources are scarce. This humanitarian initiative reflects the spirit of solidarity promoted by the charity, which is committed to alleviating the burden on struggling families and improving their living conditions.
