Islamic Arts Society organizes its 11th Annual Islamic Arts Festival at University of Houston

The Islamic Arts Society has announced the organization of its 11th annual Islamic Arts Festival, which will take place at the University of Houston on 9-10 November , 2024.

This festival is one of the largest cultural events in the U.S., attracting thousands of visitors to celebrate the beauty and diversity of Islamic arts.

Shahin Rahman, President of the Islamic Arts Society, emphasized that the festival aims to promote cultural understanding by highlighting the unity and richness of Islamic arts through diverse cultural expressions.

This year’s festival will feature visual art exhibitions from emerging artists and students, along with a range of cultural and artistic activities.

For the first time, the festival will be held at a central location on the University of Houston campus, after previously being hosted at the Masjid Al-Salam area.

The free event will take place at the Houston Hall in the university’s South Student Center on Saturday and Sunday, from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
