Turkey’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on Friday the arrest of 88 individuals suspected of links to ISIS.

The arrests were made during coordinated operations that have been ongoing for five days across 23 provinces, involving intelligence and counter-terrorism units.

In a post shared on social media platform X, Yerlikaya highlighted the intensified efforts by Turkish security forces in their fight against ISIS.

Recent operations have led to the detention of numerous ISIS members, the deportation of others, and the prevention of entry for suspected militants into the country.

According to media reports, ISIS has been responsible for several deadly attacks in Turkey, including bombings in Istanbul, Ankara, and border regions, which resulted in civilian casualties and injuries.
