On World Humanitarian Day, Freemuslim calls for urgent international action to stop wars
On the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, the Freemuslim Association called on the international community to take effective steps to contain the escalating crises that the world has been witnessing since the end of World War II.
In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the organization noted that the ongoing wars in various regions around the world, amid serious political tensions, could lead to a global conflict that threatens all of humanity without exception.
The organization emphasized the urgent need to strengthen wise and prompt humanitarian action to stop the bloodshed caused by war activities.
The statement particularly highlighted the catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip, where civilians suffer from the ongoing war waged by Israel, as well as the Russian-Ukrainian war, which poses a serious challenge that could have catastrophic consequences on an international scale.
In light of these escalating crises, the Freemuslim called for utilizing World Humanitarian Day as a platform to unite international efforts to stop the ongoing wars, urging governments and international leaders to take immediate action to restore security and stability on the global stage.
The organization stressed that humanitarian responsibility falls on everyone, calling for intensified international efforts to mitigate the damage and protect civilians from the horrors of ongoing wars.
