The Free Muslim Association—a global anti-violence organization—has called on the leaders of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to take responsible action during their upcoming meeting in Washington.
The organization emphasized the need for efforts that contribute to defusing current crises and enhancing international stability and peace.
In a statement seen by Shia Waves Agency, the organization expressed concern that the risk of a full-scale global war is imminent if escalating stances and increasing political tensions persist, underscoring that this situation requires leaders of advanced nations to review their positions and work earnestly to address current issues.
The statement noted that NATO bears significant responsibility for the threats facing humanity today, calling for effective solutions to the existential challenges that threaten global security and peace, explaining that NATO should adopt policies aimed at de-escalation and avoiding further escalation, to ensure the world does not witness into broader conflicts.
The organization also stressed the importance of dialogue and international cooperation in addressing geopolitical conflicts, affirming that the pursuit of peaceful solutions must be the top priority for all parties, calling on all concerned nations to assume their responsibilities and work together to achieve global stability and prosperity.
