‘Sons of Kuwait’ charity launches project to help disadvantaged children in Tanzania
The Sons of Kuwait Charitable Organization has launched a major project to secure the needs of orphans and the poor in the city of Singida, Tanzania, in southern Africa.
In an exclusive interview with Shia News Agency, the organizers of the project said, “The charity continuously strives to implement its humanitarian projects in poor countries to secure the necessary and essential needs for impoverished and needy children from the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”
They added that “the charitable organization recently carried out a number of significant humanitarian projects, including the ‘Barefoot’ project for supporting children and the needy, which involves distributing large quantities of shoes.”
They pointed out that “the charity identified a large number of children in this city who either do not have shoes or have worn-out ones, and it quickly provided them with new shoes as part of this humanitarian initiative.”
The organizers noted that “these children are devotees of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and have received lessons and teachings from the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and it was part of our duty to extend a helping hand to them.”
