Holy Najaf hosts 12 International Comprehensive Shopping Exhibition and Festival

The holy city of Najaf has hosted the 12th International Comprehensive Shopping Exhibition and Festival, which aims at enhancing trade exchange and global communication.

Holy Najaf’s Governor, Youssef Kanaoui, stated during the opening of the exhibition that “the International Comprehensive Shopping Exhibition and Festival is an important initiative to enhance trade exchange and global communication.”

Kanaoui continued that “the exhibition saw the participation of local, Arab, and foreign companies, who came here to showcase their various products and provide visitors with the opportunity to benefit from them and their experiences.”

The Governor pointed out the government’s efforts are aimed at, “enhancing the holy city’s position in economics, trade, agriculture, and other sectors, with the aim of promoting trade exchange and global communication.”

On his part, the media official of the Najaf International Exhibition, Haider Al-Mousawi, said: “The Najaf Comprehensive Shopping Festival and Exhibition witnessed the participation of companies from eight Arab and foreign countries, including (Egypt, Syria, India, Pakistan, Lebanon, Turkey, Iran, and Jordan) in addition to Iraqi companies.”

Shia Waves correspondent, who covered the event, said that “the number of participating companies in the exhibition exceeded 200 marketing companies, from Arab, foreign, and local, displaying various commodity products that supply the Iraqi and Najaf markets, especially with various goods.”
