In the aftermath of the devastating magnitude-7.6 earthquake that struck the Noto Peninsula in Japan on New Year’s Day, a group of dedicated Muslims has been stepping up to provide much-needed assistance and comfort to the affected residents, KYODO NEWS, a Japanese leading news agency, reported.
Led by Mazen Salim, the head of the Toyama Muslim Center, this group has been serving up delicious curry to the quake victims, offering not only nourishment but also a sense of hope and solidarity during difficult times.
Inspired by the teachings of Islam, the Muslim team make the journey from Toyama to Suzu in neighboring Ishikawa Prefecture, one of the areas hardest hit by the January quake. They bring with them bags of groceries, daily necessities, and a heartwarming commitment to supporting those who have lost their homes and loved ones.
