The Free Muslim Organization warns of growing hatred towards Muslims in the West and calls for curbing this phenomenon
The Freemuslim, a non-profit organization which promotes humanitarian and non-violent activities, has expressed its deep concern about the increasing hatred towards Muslims in the West, warning of undesirable consequences if such reprehensible acts continue to escalate.
The organization stated in a press release received by Shia Waves Agency that it “was informed about human rights reports indicating an extremist attack on a mosque in Mississauga last week coinciding with the anniversary of the Quebec City mosque attack.”
The organization sees, according to the statement, “that these violations pose a significant danger to civil and societal peace within Canada, and portend undesirable consequences if repeated”.
The organization called on the Canadian society in all its spectrums to “reject these violations and condemn them, in addition to stressing the importance of authorities taking responsibility for combating religious and racial extremism emanating from some extremist factions.”
In the same context, the organization also confirmed that it “has seen footage of a violent assault on a Muslim student in Chicago, where a group of students taking turns brutally beating the veiled student, causing her to lose consciousness after falling to the ground.”
The organization denounced this heinous racist attack, while simultaneously calling for “curbing this phenomenon and punishing its promoters and perpetrators.”
