Iraq to launch 47th session of Baghdad International Fair next Wednesday
The Iraqi Ministry of Commerce announced today, Sunday, the launching date of the the activities of the Baghdad International Fair, in its new session.
Director General of Planning and Supervision at the Ministry, Talib Hassan Nama, said in a statement to the official newspaper, followed by Shia Waves Agency, that “Next Wednesday will witness the launch of the activities of the Baghdad International Fair in its 47th session, with the participation of 20 countries and 800 local and Arab and foreign companies.”
Nama added that “the exhibition will last for ten days and will be held under the slogan (Iraq Communicates), the largest economic event that differs from previous exhibitions, as its preparations began early, so that it comes out in the best form.”
Nama explained that “the participation of countries in the exhibition has increased from 13 in 2023 to 20 for the current year,” adding that ” Participating countries will be Germany, Japan, Spain, Turkey, Iran, and India, in addition to Arab countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt, and Syria, in addition to the participation of the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan.”
He continued that “the exhibition will organize artistic, cultural and folkloric events, which embody the civilization of the Mesopotamian culture, which will attract foreign investors and companies.”
