Husseini Rituals among cultural traditions in Indonesia, a report says
The Indonesian magazine “Celebrities”, which is specialized in various local news and reports, reported the rituals of reviving the eternal tragedy of Karbala, among the most important cultures prevailing in the Republic of Indonesia.
The magazine said, in a report that it started with a list that included the most important (15) cultural traditions in the country, that “Wekasan Rebo culture is a ritual tradition that takes place on the last Wednesday of the month of Safar al-Aghar to commemorate the martyrdom of the grandson of the Messenger of God, Imam Hussein bin Ali, peace be upon them, on the land of Karbala on the tenth of the sacred month of Muharram every year.
