Indonesia to Host 350,000 Quran Completion Event for Nuzulul Quran

The Ministry of Religious Affairs in Indonesia has organize the “Indonesia Khataman Al-Quran” event, featuring 350,000 Quran completion gatherings nationwide to commemorate Nuzulul Quran, the revelation of the Quran, Antara news agency reported.
Secretary General Kamaruddin Amin emphasized the significance of Ramadan as a sacred month for Muslims, during which the Quran serves as a guide for life. The event aims to strengthen Islamic values and foster a deeper understanding of the Quran among Muslims.
Participants will include members from Quran recitation institutions, religious study groups, Islamic boarding schools, and the general public, with groups of three to ten individuals leading the sessions. This historic event aims to promote Quran completion across Indonesia.
