India: 15 poets organize poetry festival to honor sacrifices, heroic roles of Prophet’s uncle, Abu Talib

The “Amar Ujala” website said in an article translated by Shia Waves Agency that, the Indian Shia city of Halor in Uttar Pradesh, had hosted a poetry festival to remember the sacrifices and heroic roles of the Prophet’s uncle, Abu Talib, peace be upon them, towards the religion of Islam.

The website added that, “The festival was organized by 15 poets who recited poems in honor of Abu Talib, Imam Ali’s father, peace be upon them.”

It continued that, “The poets emphasized the fact that Abu Talib represents the identity of Islam, and thus he must be glorified by Muslims.”

The poets who organized this special festival are: Neet Bakh, Khalus Halori, Shadab Sanju, Hassan Jamal, Nafis Amar, Alem Al-Ridha, Arman Arzu, Azadar Hussein, Lakhi Al-Halori, Haidar Al-Karrar, Zakir Jamal Haider, Kadhim Karbalaei, Saber and Kawthar.
