India Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi holds meeting to discuss its program for the great month of Ramadan and its preparations for the coming months
The office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi in India, held a special meeting for the Husseini orators, imams of the congregation and religious informants, to discuss the plans developed for the great month of Ramadan, and the religious and social services that have been achieved.
The meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sayyed Seif Abbas al-Naqvi, stressed the importance of religious communication in spreading the teachings of the true religion and introducing the culture of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
During the meeting, which was attended by our correspondent, al-Naqvi said: “The office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi succeeded in developing a special program during the days and nights of the great month of Ramadan to preach legal issues and the knowledge of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, to a large number of believers inside mosques and Husseiniyas.”
He added that this mission does not depend on the month of Ramadan only, but is necessary and required throughout the days of the year to maintain and perpetuate this connection between the Indian people and the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
The attendees at the meeting discussed the program presented during the days of the great month of Ramadan, while putting forward new proposals to implement them during the month of Ramadan next year, in addition to declaring their readiness to establish a broad informative program during the coming months of Muharram and Safar.
