At least 15 killed, millions displaced in Bangladesh, India from Landslides

Landslides and floods triggered by heavy monsoon rains have killed at least 15 people and displaced millions in Bangladesh and India, Al Jazeera reported yesterday.

Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh were particularly affected, with eight Rohingya Muslims confirmed dead, the news agency added.

Over a million people in Bangladesh have been stranded by floodwaters.

Across the border in India’s Assam state, landslides and floods have killed at least six people and affected over 160,000.
