Hindutva Mob Attacks Hospital Treating Injured Patients of Madrasa in Medak, India

In a disturbing incident, a hospital in Medak, India, treating patients from the Madrasa Minhaj ul Uloom was allegedly targeted by 150-200 BJP and BJYM workers on June 15, Muslim Mirror reported yesterday.

The mob not only vandalized the hospital but also damaged the cars of the hospital staff, the source mentioned.

The attack was triggered by the madrasa’s purchase of cattle for Bakra Eid, which caused unrest among right-wing Hindutva organizations. After police dispersed the initial ruckus, the attackers returned and launched a more violent assault, injuring several individuals inside the madrasa.

When the injured patients were being treated at the hospital, the mob stormed the facility, pelting stones and damaging property.

The doctors were left shocked and distressed, questioning whether treating patients had become a sin, the article mentioned.

Medak remains tense as authorities work to maintain order and prevent further escalation.
