India: Annual Hussaini Gathering recalls scholarly legacy of Imam Al-Sadiq ahead of his painful martyrdom

The Indian city of Srinagar witnessed the annual Hussaini gathering attended by thousands of followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, to commemorate the scholarly legacy and mourn the painful martyrdom of Imam Al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, with participants describing his era as the Age of Enlightenment.

This gathering takes place during the ten-day period dedicated to Imam Al-Sadiq, which precededs his painful martyrdom anniversary observed on the 25th of the current month of Shawwal.

Media outlets reported that this significant event, attended by thousands of believers from the followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, is organized by the Shia Sharia Association.

During the gathering, Sayyid Hasan al-Mousawi highlighted the important contributions of Imam Al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, to Islamic knowledge and enlightenment, emphasizing that sciences and knowledge flourished during his noble Imamate, laying the spiritual foundation for the Shia Islamic community throughout history.
