UK-based IHC, Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation begin new humanitarian phase to assist Lebanese

Amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Lebanon caused by continuous Israeli bombardment, the UK-based Imam Hussain Charity (IHC) and the Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development have announced the launch of a new phase of aid distribution to displaced Lebanese families in shelter centers.

In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the charities reaffirmed commitment to their ongoing relief project, initiated at the start of the aggression under the slogan “Together to Aid Lebanon”.

This phase of assistance is being implemented in collaboration with the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi in Lebanon and Imam Hussein Media Group, aiming at alleviating the suffering of displaced families and providing for their essential needs.

The aid distributed during this phase includes food baskets, bedding, and winter clothing to address urgent needs as the cold season approaches. The charitable groups emphasized that this initiative is an extension of their earlier campaigns, which began in the early days of the aggression.

These efforts have included not only the distribution of material aid but also the establishment of mobile kitchens to prepare and deliver hot meals to displaced families in various Lebanese regions.
