Ayatollah Seyed Ali Shirazi, son of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, passes away

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Shirazi, the eldest son of the Supreme Marja, Grand Ayatollah Seyed Sadegh al-Hosseini al-Shirazi, departed this world for his eternal abode.

His Eminence passed away, yesterday, August 11, coinciding the 6th of Safar al-Ahzan.

Following the demise of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Shirazi, Imam Hussein Media Group (peace be upon him) issued a condolence message as follows:

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.

Imam Hussain Media Group extends condolences on the loss of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Shirazi, the eldest son of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadegh al-Hosseini al-Shirazi, to His Majesty the Master of the Age and Time, may Allah hasten his reappearance, to Grand Ayatollah Shirazi and his esteemed family, and his office, and all relatives, followers and adherents of his Eminence.

We ask Allah for mercy and divine pleasure for the deceased and the companionship with his pure ancestors, the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them. We also pray for patience and great reward for the bereaved family.

There is no power and no strength except through Allah.

It should be mentioned that a funeral will be held tomorrow, August 13, in holy Qom to honor the deceased, before his body will be transferred to Holy Karbala for burial.
