Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi announces Tuesday as first of holy month of Dhu’l-Qida

The office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has announced that tomorrow Tuesday —corresponding to April, 29, 2025—marks the first of the month of Dhu’l-Qida, 1446 AH.

The office said in a statement: “The crescent of the month of Dhu’l-Qida was sighted, and therefore; it is proven by His Eminence that tomorrow, Tuesday, is the first day of the month of Dhu’l-Qida.”
